When it comes to planning your wedding, booking your venue, photographer, and finding the perfect wedding dress are at the top of the list. However, include choosing the perfect color palette to that list. But what colors should you choose? Here is some inspiration based on the color trends for 2019.
While 2018 was a year of ethereal pastels, including blush pink, powder blue, lilacs and creams, we are extremely excited about what 2019 has to offer — more vibrant, saturate, and energetic colors! Although ethereal muted pastels will always lend a sophisticated, timeless design aesthetic, do not count these colors options out.
Pantone’s Color of the Year, Living Coral, is the true inspiration for this year’s color trend. The spirited, energetic and the engaging nature of the Living Coral welcomes and encourages lighthearted activity symbolizing our innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits. Even though we love the ever-popular blush and cream color palettes, expect to see new color palettes incorporating more peach tones influenced by Pantone’s Living Coral. With tons of variety to choose from, like mixing peachy tones with pinks and yellows or staying with one color and varying shades in the same hue (think light peachy tones all the way hints of vibrant coral), this color will be a lifetime love of ours.
Shades of Yellow
Another wonderful option for this year and hopefully years to come are yellow shades including buttery, soft pastel yellows all the way to trendy mustard tones. Creating soft, elegant, romantic mood by pairing yellow shades with soft peach tones, and oranges or simply with more neutral creams and ivory.
Bold Rich Jewel Tones
One way to make a statement and express your personality is with bold, rich jewel tones! Think deep purples, ruby or burgundy red, emerald green, and sapphire blue paired with metallic accents!
