We’ve got our eye on the wedding collections from Fall Fashion Week and highlight some of best 2019 Fall trends for 2019. With the vast options from 2019 fall season style, including convertible and interchangeable dresses, fairy tale gowns, layering and unexpected styles, choosing your favorite can be a more daunting task than you think . Nevertheless, who can complain about looking at beautiful, dreamy pieces that just make us happy? And just our luck, throughout the Fall 2019 collections — the styles offer brides the option and choice to celebrate and express their individuality, personality and creativity on their wedding day —just the way we like it at Apothica Design & Events.
Extra layers of fabric draped on the lower back of a dress definitely add drama. Fashion designers incorporate different fabric combinations, like satin and lace. We are loving this trend especially because of its versatility….They are detachable, two looks in one!
VERSATILE & DRAMATIC SLEEVES
With a variety of options– flared, floor length, dramatic flutes balloon, sheer, or slit, sleeves are an easy way to make you look mesmerizing and unique. One of the most pervasive trends for fall collections was removable sleeves. Again, the style offers brides more option to change their looks throughout the day from full length sleeves for their formal ceremony to a more modern, strapless look celebrating at their reception.
REGAL CAPES & SHRUGS
A full-length bridal cape is still going strong in 2019 and new to the scene are shrugs. Some brides are opting not to use a veil where capes and shrugs have become great alternatives. They adds dimension with a modern feel. This trend is an easy way transition from ceremony to reception just by removing the cape.
FLORAL 3-D APPLIQUES & EMBELLISHMENTS
Floral accents are so apparent this fall season with glamorous floral beading and crystals, and 3-D floral appliques. Three-dimensional (3-D) elements add an innovative touch and texture without it looking too busy.
With no surprise that one most influential bridal trends for 2019 was the Royal Wedding and sophisticated look of Meghan Markle. There were many elements from the Royal Wedding that brides want to emulate. Most notably is the bateau neckline —boat-neck-meets-off-the-shoulder silhouette.
WATERFALL SKIRTS & GOWNS
Ballgowns has been a staple for many years now, but for fall 2019 there’s a lot more drama with an extra hint of volume with asymmetric tiers of tulle and even satin with an intriguing waterfall appearance.
NON-TRADITIONAL COLOR DRESSES
For the bride that wants to express her true individuality and creativity, a color wedding dress will do just that. From light pastels to bold dramatic black, this will definitely make a statement.
The plunging neckline appears in a lot of the latest collections, including those from Ines Di Santo and Morilee. This neckline draws attention to the center and offers a more modern look and feel.
ALL OVER SPARKLE
From over-the-top sequins, tonal beading and metallic embellishments, this trend is oh so glam but sophisticated for the confident bride.
We are excited for this tiny detail incorporated into wedding dresses. Not only is it a great place to store small items, place both your hands in the pockets, take a pic, and now you have a great new look for you photos.
